It was the day I had been waiting for, for over eight weeks. FINALY! I was getting my PUPPY! I was over exited just clibing quickly in my moms`s Ford escape car just knowing that we were on our way to Woodsly to get.... A PUPPY!!! As I sat anxiously in the car for about two hours playing the licence plate game and listening to the radio, my Mom told me we were going to arrive at the house that my soon to be puppy and his brothers and sisters lived in, in about ten minuites. Now I was on the edge of my seat trying to picture what the litte poochie was going to look like.I pictured an adorable, snow-white, tiny puppy laying on a hard wood ploor. I pictured him with not very thick fur, since he was only about eight weeks old.
A little bit later, the car stopped and my heart started POUNDING. OMG!!!!!!! We were finaly there! My hands were shaking and I felt extreamly over-exited as i walked into the big white house. As I walked in, the breeder came straight to the door. "Hi, I`m happy to see you guys," she said."Hi I`m Carla! This is Jaclyn, and this is Chris! They`ve been waiting for this forever!" My Mom replied. "Oh well then I won`t keep you waiting" the breeder finished. She led us into a room that looked like it was their living room. There, in the middle of the room, was four, teeny tiny, adorable, fluffy, white........ ♥PUPPIES♥!!!!!!! EEEEPPPP! I ran to them all and sat down on the ploor as they all ran around. When they settled down, the breeder pointed out which one was ours, and I picked him up and hugged him. He was adorable! I intantly fell in ove with him! My Mom then put the little red collar on him and we were on our way home.
The breeder led us out of the door. She handed my Mom a soft blanket and told her that it was my dog`s mom, Sparky`s, blaket, but she was giving it to us so Brady (my new puppy) would always feel close to her. When we put Brady in his kennel in the back of the car, he layed down and rolled on his side. The whole rest of the car ride home, I was staring at him. That`s it. Nothing else. Honestly. When we got back home, we brought Brady to my Nona`s house.
My Nona thought he was adorable and wanted to hug and hold him too. We brought him back to our house and let him wonder in the house. He got used to his name, and the house, and us after a while. Now he is almost three (twenty one in dog years) years old and still, the BEST dog ever! I love him!
